Heading in many directions
Well as Kirsty has said, the MRDF Strength to Strength Conference is finally over. This morning I said goodbye to the partners from Kenya and Uganda, sad in the knowledge that it is unlikely that we will meet again for at least a year or so, but happy that they are all keen to meet up and share ideas with their new friends when they return home. So what about the MRDF staff - are we all able to relax now? Today Menka and Caroline have gone to visit a project which allows vulnerable children to go to school in Addis Ababa, Jane will be travelling to the west to visit a rural womens project, Paul will be heading south to a street children project and Sarah and I will be heading north to an agricultural project. Kirsty and Isabelle will still be translating for the Francophone partners who are leaving tomorrow. So please think of us and our partners as we all head our separate ways before making our long journeys home.
